The Crafter's Workshop Matte Gel Medium bonds paper, fabric, and lightweight embellishments to surfaces while simultaneously sealing them beneath a clear, non-reflective coating. This dual function eliminates the need to switch between products mid-project, spread it to adhere collage elements, then brush another layer over the top for protection and visual cohesion.
The matte finish reduces glare on dimensional pieces, keeping focus on texture and composition rather than surface shine. Unlike glossy mediums that can visually flatten layered work, this formulation preserves the sense of depth created by overlapping materials. It dries clear without yellowing, maintaining the true colors of papers and ephemera underneath. The medium spreads smoothly from the jar, providing enough working time to position elements before the bond sets.
Eight fluid ounces handles substantial collage work, multiple canvas panels or extensive journal page spreads.
